99.1% of attendees confirm MPB is the best investment they’ve made in their leadership skills
MPB is a masterclass that shapes already established organizational leaders into leaders of exceptional ability.
Our mission is for attendees to come away with a skill set that enables them to design a firm — not simply manage it as problems arise. What most Managing Partners and firm leaders learn through trial and error over ten years or more, you’ll learn at MPB accelerating your competencies and the trajectory of your organization.
What our alumni are saying...
This was the best practice management course I have ever taken. Gary Shamis and his stellar team brought their collective "A" game, never a dull moment.
Charles F. (Chuck) Mullen, CPA, CMA, MTax, CGMA
Chairman, Apple Growth Partners
Well thought out. You could tell every detail was discussed beforehand. Professional staff are excellent and very helpful and caring.
Joseph Saka, CPA, CFS
CEO, Berkowitz Pollack Brant
MPB is a terrific option for this when you need to step up and understand how to run any type of professional firm. The camaraderie, setting, and quality of the presenters and topics makes this one of the most impactful personal experiences anyone, who is rising to the level of managing partner or equivalent, can have.
Robert Gialamas, FPC
VP of Operations, CBIZ Paytime
I highly recommend the program. You will not leave the Bootcamp without learning more about yourself and how to lead others. From top to bottom, the program is first rate. I plan on sending one of my firm's future leaders to next year's program.
Robert Blackham, JD
Chairman, Shareholder, Roetzel
I get the most value from hearing real-life examples from the trenches, and how it can be applied to our practice. I'm excited to share what I learned and find ways that I can help our firm grow.
David Jewell, CPA
Principal, Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Advisors
A good resource to assist in developing our advancing "soft" skills for leaders. Will help take your organization to the next level.
Alicia Greer, CPA
Partner, Berndt CPA
Certainly gained a deeper insight into how other firms operate. It's also helpful to share ideas and bring them back home to help our firm.
Solid instructors with real-world knowledge. Course helps generate new ideas that will benefit your firm.
Rob Gunther, CPA
Partner and Head of Tax Department, Frost PLLC
The class afforded me the opportunity to sit with like-minded individuals, who all brought a wealth of knowledge to further benefit each attendee. The class is well put together and prepared. The presenters are all at the top of their profession and field. I now have more tools to bring back to my firm.
Director of Implementation, CBIZ
By keeping the attendee list small, we had the opportunity to ask questions and share our thoughts and issues we faced. It also allowed us to learn how other firms function. Having the full focus of the expertise of the presenters we were offered tips and knowledge gained from years of their success and in some cases failures, condensed into a reasonable two-sessions of three days.
Chief Compliance Officer, Dakota Wealth Management (formerly Springside Partners)
You have done a great job in developing this bootcamp and the content. I did not know what to expect. I attended many programs and thought this would be another one that I might come out gaining "something." However, I came away with much more. I really enjoyed it.
Richard Crabtree, CPA, PFS
Managing Partner, Whalen & Company, CPAs
The entire program was outstanding. Really appreciate the effort that went into developing a curriculum and recruiting expert instructors. At most conferences, there are usually a few high points with a lot of "filler," but this program was solid throughout.
Chris Meshginpoosh, CPA, CGMA
Managing Director, Kreisher Miller
Great discussions on ways to better communicate with employees and foster a learning/positive culture in your firm.
Carol Smith, CPA
Executive Committee Member, Partner, Frost PLLC
The peer group is one of the most valuable tools. One thing that I love is that you move our seats every day. Forces us to interact with different people every day.
Chris Lutes, CPA, CGMA
Managing Shareholder, BeachFleischman
MPB | Leadership Accelerated is Transforming Leaders and Firms
Lead with confidence. Grow with certainty.
MPB Leadership Accelerated is not another practice management conference or series of workshops - it is a “managing-a-practice” seminar. In every benchmarking survey with past cohorts, our alumni have indicated that:
- MPB has changed the way they lead their firms for the better.
- They have achieved measurable improvements within their firms as a direct outcome of their experience at MPB.
- They continue to leverage the peer relationships they built during their time with us.
MPB will sharpen your skills, help you to confront and overcome shortcomings, and deepen your ability to perform more confidently. Cohort groups are kept intentionally small (classes limited to 12 seats each) to encourage peer-to-peer learning, candor, and confidentiality. Impactful courses will elevate your capabilities, challenging and changing the way you look at, think about, and perform your role.
The ultimate goal is for you to make better decisions in running your firm, practice, and team.
This rigorous, intense training is spread over two three-day sessions: one in the fall, and one in the following spring. MPB will change the way you lead, guide you to make better decisions, improve your effectiveness, and give you the knowledge and confidence to run your firm more effectively and profitably.
Industry expert Gary Shamis conceived of and designed MPB Leadership Accelerated with the experience he gained in his four-decades long career building and growing one of the nation’s largest accounting and consulting firms, SS&G, Inc.
In this program, Gary and his team of facilitators will share with you what nobody else has about running a firm – the challenges, opportunities, surprises, and successes.
MPB will enable you to develop leadership competencies that will have you functioning at an elite level. It will maximize your management potential by honing in on your strengths and identifying and improving your weaknesses.
It will guide you toward long-term, viable firm leader. Very few seminars are available to managing partners and firm leaders looking to successfully enhance the way they manage people and lead firms. This opportunity is only for those serious about wanting to get to the next level.
