Coveted industry leadership event responds to demand

Winding River Consulting is pleased to announce dates for its 10th, 11th, and 12th Managing Partner Bootcamp (MPB) cohort groups to be held in the fall of 2021.

“Interest in this intense, master leadership class has been off the charts as a result of the pandemic, which has created many questions and issues pertaining to running the firm of the future, today,” says Gary Shamis, CEO of Winding River Consulting and a 2020 “Most Influential People in Accounting” (Accounting Today). “Our virtual platform worked better than we expected  in 2020, and while we recognize that it may be necessary to pivot again this year, we also know there is no substitute for the camaraderie and experience created when we bring people together face to face in a confidential, collaborative environment.”

MPB is an invaluable resource to supporting firm leaders in addressing obstacles and challenges in their growth and evolution. The faculty team teaches in six intensive days of learning what it took Shamis four decades to learn as a managing partner, advancing their knowledge and confidence.

Registration is open for 2021. Seats are limited to no more than one dozen participants per class. Currently, more than a quarter of the seats available have been reserved. Bootcamps will take place in Chicago (Rosemont, IL at O’Hare).

“Based on our 2020 consulting engagements and conversations with hundreds of firms, we know that now, perhaps more than at any other time in history, leaders are looking for immediate and impactful support,” adds Shamis. “The MPB experience is successful at delivering it to managing partners and firm leadership for today and into the future.”

Winding River was named a “2020 Most Recommended Consultant” by Inside Public Accounting. More information, including registration, agenda, and prior attendees, is available on the firm’s website: WindingRiverConsulting.com/MPB.
