Winding River Consulting Announces Launch of “Basic Training Bootcamp” for New and Emerging Accounting Firm Partners

Cleveland, OH, June 25, 2024 — Winding River Consulting is excited to announce the launch of its newest leadership development program — Basic Training Bootcamp — designed specifically for new and emerging partners in the accounting profession. Basic Training Bootcamp is an immersive program tailored to equip participants with the strategic mindset and skills essential to excel in leadership roles.

Based on feedback from client firms and our unique insight into the industry, we've developed this program to prepare younger professionals for this critical role. Basic Training Bootcamp offers a comprehensive blend of lectures, discussions, case studies, and group exercises. Content has been created, with input from today’s top firm leaders, to ensure new leaders enter the role prepared for what lies ahead. Participants will also foster long-lasting professional relationships, providing mutually beneficial industry connections that benefit them throughout their careers.

The curriculum covers four key pillars:

• Client Service: Best practices for delivering exceptional client service.
• Growing People: Insights into talent acquisition, management, and retention.

To ensure a personalized and impactful experience, this program is limited to just 15 participants, with no more than two people allowed from one firm. This exclusivity fosters a close-knit learning environment and maximizes individual attention for partners selected to attend by their firm. The investment for the program is $5,000 per seat with cohorts happening in the spring and fall of each year.
