CLEVELAND, OH( August 10, 2021) – After twenty years together, accounting industry change agents Gary Shamis, Gary Boomer, and Allan Koltin are reimagining their premier industry symposium. Following a pandemic-induced hiatus, hundreds of the accounting industry’s foremost practice leaders and managing partners are eager to get down to business and make up for the interrupted time.
The inaugural Winning Ways Conference, held on November 16 and 17, 2021 at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, will address contemporary issues and help advance firms committed to collaboration, networking, growing, and, most importantly, winning in a post-pandemic world. The conference will bring together the industry’s top thought leaders, innovators, and disruptors to give leaders the opportunities to take advantage of ways to assimilate into the market.
The conference theme is “Firm of the Future.” A special general session spotlighting three progressive firms considered to be industry disruptors will take place on November 16. The managing partners of Richey May, The Real Estate CPA, and H & Co. Global Advisors will discuss the myriad of pivots they made over the past eighteen months and the ways they’ve successfully differentiated themselves in their respective markets.
Sponsored by Tri-Merit, Aprio, Anduin, ADP, and IntroHive the 2021 Winning Ways Conference will feature more than 9 hours of executive-level content. Focused on dissecting and analyzing the leadership styles and techniques that give way to the Firm of the Future, attendees will also capitalize on the power of the accounting community.
Due to limited capacity, only 200 attendees will be afforded an opportunity to take an in-depth, interactive look at the latest industry trends and firm relevancy tactics.
“The accelerated pace of change in our industry is exciting to watch. Hearing what those firms leading the way are doing only propels the industry as a whole forward and gives smaller firms the insight they need to develop a winning edge,” said Gary Shamis, Chief Executive Officer of Winding River Consulting and conference co-founder. “To come to Chicago with the lineup of speakers we have, and the sponsors backing us – I believe we’ll make up for the time lost the last two years.”
“Collaboration, community, and culture provide the foundation for a “winning way” of thinking. These components, along with leadership and vision, provide the pathway to future success,” says Jason Yetter, Managing Partner of Richey May & Co., an Accounting Today 2021 Firms to Watch. “This conference will give every attendee the insights and motivation to evolve within the industry.”
Given COVID’s impact on the workforce and the way we conduct business, firms of all sizes have had to adapt and change. How leaders manage firms into the future is vital. Successes that may have been stunted due to the pandemic are now potentially ripe with opportunity if leaders know how to continue to evolve and innovate.
Registration is now open. Due to the limited capacity at the event, tickets are required and available on a first come, first served basis.
